Käppchen und Spickel

Gestern war mit Klavier und Chor ein eher musikalischer Tag und so haben meine Mama und ich keine Zeit für die Ferse gefunden. So sah sie gestern übrigens aus:



Dafür war meine Mama aber heute eine Stunde lang da und hat mir gezeigt, wie ich das Käppchen stricke... hui, gar nicht so einfach! Im ersten Moment war ich etwas überfordert, aber dann ging es recht gut. Das Käppchen hab ich jetzt fertig und bin grade beim Spickel (jaha - ich hab dazugelernt! ). Da muss man sich ganz schon konzentrieren und mit der ganzen Zählerei... hui...
Naja, jedenfalls so sieht meine erste Socke heute aus:



Und dann hatte ich noch mit meinen Shamrock-Topflappen angefangen, aber ich hab das wieder aufgemacht, weil es nicht gestimmt hat. Da muss ich mich noch mal dran setzen, wenn ich etwas geduldiger bin als jetzt grade oder noch mal Mama um Rat fragen .

My first heel

Yesterday I had a quite musical day because of piano lessons and choir and so my Mum and I didn't find the time for doing the heel. Above (first pic) you can see how my sock looked yesterday.
But today my Mum visited me and so she showed me how to knit the heel this afternoon. wow... not easy at all! In the beginning I was quite swamped but then I got the hang of it. You have to concentrate a lot and count...
Well... but above (second pic) you can see how my first sock looks now.

And I started with my shamrock shaped oven-clothes but I had to open it up again because something was wrong. I will try again when I'm more patient than right now. Or I'll consult my Mum again .
