Von Schafen, Zöpfen und Tanten

Gestern hat mich Roidsear mit "Glenkill - ein Schafskrimi" überrascht. Auf das Buch hatte ich schon länger ein Auge geworfen und nachdem ich "Das keltische Labyrinth" zu Ende gelesen hatte, hatte ich auf keins der Bücher aus unserem Regal Lust.
Die ersten beiden Kapitel sind schon verschlungen worden und das Buch ist einfach nur genial. "Spaten sind keine Krankheit" ... ich hab schon mehr als einmal laut loslachen müssen.

Wenn ich nicht gerade lese, stricke ich an meinen ersten Mustersocken. Es ist zwar nur ein einfaches Zopfmuster, aber immerhin mal ein Muster. Ich steigere mich ;)
Das ist schon was anderes als immer nur glatt rechts zu stricken, aber ich brauche nicht viel länger dafür.
Das Wollfeegeschenk habe ich auch begonnen und hoffe, dass es noch rechtzeitig fertig werden wird.


Meine Mama hat sich letztens ein Heft gekauft, in dem eine Anleitung für Zehensocken drinnen ist. Ich bin ja total der Zehensocken-Fan (die verrücktesten: Kuh-Zehensocken, mit Kuscheltier-Kuhköpfen auf den großen Zehen und ABS-Milchkännchen auf dem Fuß). Ich denke, das werde ich in nächster Zeit auch mal ausprobieren (nachdem ich die momentanen Projekte beendet habe).
Auch Elisa hat mir vor ein paar Tagen eine Zehensocken-Strickanleitung geschickt, allerdings auf Englisch. Aber vielleicht überwinde ich dadurch ja meine momentane "Angst" vor englischen Anleitungen.


Und vorhin hat sich auch meine Kaffee-Fee bzw. Kaffeetante gemeldet. Darüber hab ich mich auch riesig gefreut! Sie hatte mir schon eine eCard geschrieben, aber die ist bei mir nie angekommen. Aber jetzt haben wir ja Kontakt :)


So, aber jetzt muss ich mal noch was im Haushalt tun, bevor ich wieder los muss. Heute gehe ich mal wieder in den Chor und freue mich total drauf.

sheepcablesandaunts

Yesterday, Roidsear surprised me with "Glenkill - a sheep thriller". I had kept my eyes on this book for quire a while and after I finished "The celtic riddle", I didn't feel like read any of the books in our shelves.
The first two chapters are already read. This book is just great! "Spades aren't a diesease"... I had to laugh out loud more than once...

When I'm not reading, I'm knitting my first sock with a pattern. It's sure just a simple cable pattern, but at least a pattern. I improve ;)
It is something else than only to knit, but I don't need that much more time.
I have also started with the present for my Wollprinzessin and hope that it will be done in time.


Some time ago, my Mum bought a magazine in which was a tutorial to knit toe sock. I am such a fan of toe socks. I think I will give them a try soon (after finishing the recent projects).
Also, Elisa has sent me instructions to knit toe socks some days ago, but in English. But perhaps I will overcome my recent "fear" of english instructions.

Today my Kaffe-Aunt sent me a mail. I was really happ about it. She had already tried to sent me an eCard but I have never received it. But now we're in contact :)

Well, there is still housework to do, before I have to go. Today, I will go to the choir for the first time in several weeks and I really look forward to it.
