Fortschritte

Ja, ein paar Fortschritte gibt es zu vermelden :)

Roidsear's Socken sind zu 75% fertig. Ich bin gerade mit der Ferse der 2. Socke fertig. Ich wollte aber nicht so lange warten, bis ich ganz fertig bin, um mit den Sneakers zu beginnen und die Socken für den ZoSoKAL wollten auch angeschlagen werden.

So sieht es also momentan in meinem Strickkorb aus:


Ich habe ein bisschen aufgeräumt, die nicht gebrauchten Nadeln und angefangenen Strickstücke, für die ich momentan keinen Nerv oder keine Lust habe, weggeräumt, sodass jetzt nur noch die tatsächlichen WIPs + Garne + Nadeln im Korb liegen. Viiiiel besser!
Aber ich brauche unbedingt sobald als möglich irgendein Nadeletui o.ä. - momentan ist mir das zu unordentlich...

Gestern Abend habe ich mich aufgerafft und die Sneakers angeschlagen, die auch schon ein gutes Stück gewachsen sind. Wie ihr seht, hab ich nicht das Sommergarn genommen, sondern mich für ein Wollpapst-Garn (50% Baumwolle, 50% Polyamid) von Marion entschieden. Vielleicht könnt ihr euch noch dran erinnern, eigentlich wollte ich daraus "normale" Socken stricken, aber dann hat mir das irgendwie nicht so gefallen, was ich da vorhatte und habe geribbelt. Jetzt bin ich aber super zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis.


Ich habe Monikas Rat aus den Kommentaren befolgt und nach dem Bündchen (10 Reihen 2 re 2 li) 3 Reihen glatt rechts gestrickt. Das war eine gute Entscheidung :)
Die Ferse ist gestrickt, jetzt "nur noch" der Fuß, aber das zieht sich meistens so lang hin.


Dann habe ich, wie erwähnt, die Socken für den "ZopfAlong" angeschlagen und ein paar Reihen gestrickt. Viel ist noch nicht zu sehen:



Die Sneaker sowie die Zopfsocken werden übrigens nur deshalb mit Metall-Nadeln gestrickt, weil ich nur ein Nichtmetall-Nadelspiel in Stärke 3 habe (Bambus, welches gerade in den Roidsearsocken steckt) und alle 3 Sockenprojekte mit Stärke 3 gestrickt werden (müssen). Aber irgendwie ist das auch mal wieder ganz nett. Im Winter waren mir die Nadeln zu kalt, aber jetzt im "Sommer" sind die kühlen Nadeln ganz angenehm.

Apropos Metallnadeln... Ich habe mir vor einer Weile Nadeln beim Rödel gekauft und diese bei den Zopfsocken eingeweiht. Da hab ich erst gesehen, was auf dieser Nadel drauf steht und mich sehr gewundert. Der Rödel verkauft also addi Nadeln? Außen stand da gar nix drauf.




So, und zum Abschluss bekommt ihr noch ein Foto von mir und meiner Luna, der es inzwischen wieder ganz gut geht :)
Hasi ist nicht ausgestopft und das ist auch kein Schnappschuss ;)
Ich konnte sie schon immer wie ein Baby halten und sie ist schon immer so liegengeblieben. Sie genießt es richtig, in meinem Arm zu liegen und sich streicheln zu lassen.

Progress

Yes, I can announce some progress :)

Roidsear's socks are 75% done. I just finished the heel of the second sock. I didn't want to wait until I have finished both socks before casting on my sneakers and the socks for the ZoSoKAL.

Well, above you can see a current picture of my knitting basket.
I tidied a bit up, evacuated the currently not needed or wanted needles and ufos and now there are only the wips I really work on. Much better!
But I need urgently need something to store my needles in - it's much to messy at the moment...

Yesterday evening I could pull myself to cast on my sneakers, which have already grown a bit since then as you can see on the second picture above.
I didn't use the "summer yarn" but a yarn from Marions Wollpapst (50% cotton, 50% polyamid). Perhaps you can remember that I wanted to knit "normal" socks from it but somehow I wasn't confident with that. So I frogged. But now I am really happy about the result.
I acted on Monika's advice (view second last entry's comments) and knitted after the cuff (10 rows 2 knits 2 purls) 3 rows stockinette stitch. That was a good decision.
The heel is done, now there's "only" the foot left, but that protracts always so...


Then, I casted on the socks for the "CableAlong" and knitted some rows. There isn't much to see on picture 3, but the very beginning.
The sneakers and the cable socks are going to be knitted on metal needles, because I don't have that much non-metal needles in size 3 and all three projects need needle-size 3mm. Only my bamboo needles, but they are currently in use for Roidsear's socks. But somehow that's fine. In winter metal needles were too cold but now in "summer", this coolness is really pleasing.

Apropos metal needles... Some time ago I've bought needles at Wolle Rödel (yarn store) and have inducted them with the cable socks. First then I recognized what the text on the needles was (picture 4) and wondered that Rödel sells addi needles without marking it extraneous.


Well, finally I want to show you a picture (last picture above) of me and my Luna, who is fine again :)
Bunny is NOT padded and this is not only a snapshots ;)
I could always hold her like this and she has always stayed in this position. She really enjoys to lie in my arms and to be fondled like this.
